Fortnite players have spent the entire seventh season of the game battling an ever-growing alien threat. It's time to face the alien threat as they attack the alien mothership and unleash dangerous cubes of light in the explosive season finale.
Although this is my first time attending a Fortnite Finals event, as a newcomer to the game I am very familiar with the story of the giant, mysterious purple cube affectionately known by fans as Kevin. Since its debut this year in 2018, spawned from a mysterious rift that briefly transports players to another dimension , Into the Blast has been one of the most exciting things about the epic battle royale game since the beginning of Kevin's saga. In 2017, he started eating football players. Gamers love Cube. They want to know where Cub is, what he's thinking, and if he's thinking about them.
We caught up with Kevin on today's Season 7 finale special. And Kevin has friends.

In the final moments of Fortnite Season 7, players (myself included) boarded an alien mothership hovering over the island for one last attack. Mysterious Dr. Sloan has mined part of the island and players must equip the mines. After an epic run through the maternity ward, we find ourselves in a huge, empty room. As Dr. Sloan begins to equip the explosives, a large cube-shaped object rises from the center of the room.

Using the power of our bags, Dr. Sloan manages to free poor Kevin, and we're left standing in a room with a strange gray cube holding his body. The good doctor equips him with explosives and gives him bad news. Instead of calling us home and stopping Cube from escaping, he left us to die on the ship. Shame
After wandering around the room in a blind panic for a while, we players discovered that we had the ability to fill Kevin's bag.
